FRIENDS NO MATTER WHAT



Hi everyone....
It's Nathaniel. I wrote a poem that I wanted to share with you. It was entered into the 2008 Young Poets ... Poetry Competition. It is called FRIENDS NO MATTER WHAT.

Friends no matter what.

If you’re far apart from your friends,
Look in all the joy in yourself or heart.
You will soon think that friendship will soon end.
But friendship never ends.

Soon a bright light of friendship will touch you again.
Look up at the first star you see.
So think to yourself, friendship is in my heart.
In myself.

Friends no matter what.

If you’re far apart from your friends,
Look in all the joy in yourself or heart.
Friendship is always with you.
Also, I will see you in my dreams.

Friends no matter what.

Nathaniel wrote this after a fun playdate with one of his friends after two of his other good friends had moved from the area .... It won First Place for First Graders.
