For her 50th birthday, the kids surprised Nina with this huge collage. It's measure nearly 4 feet by 6 feet. Over the past 30 years it's travel everywhere with us thru 14 housing moves. And while it's remained in one location now for the past 14 years, the pictures are showing signs of wear and tear.
Fortunately, we're living in the digital age, so I exercised my camera and my patience and shot photos of the photos. Due to lighting challenges and camera oddities, I shot and reshot all 119 photos 4 times. Then I cropped them, and adjusted the brightness and contrast and adjusted the white balance to revive them as best as I could. It only took every waking hour for the past week. But at last, this project is finally complete.
The photos are loosely grouped in a 3x3 grid.
If you click in any of the 9 segments, a new window will open displaying a medium sized image of the photos in that segment. If you click anywhere on the medium sized image, a large image of that segment will be displayed allowing you to scroll around and observe lots of details.
